Studielink is the official centralized platform for managing admissions to higher education institutions across the Netherlands. Through this all-in-one portal, you prepare your application, upload the required documentation, and coordinate your formal enrolment.

The platform connects directly with every Dutch university, covering both Universities of Applied Sciences (HBO) and Research Universities (WO).

Identity Verification and Payments

Account creation, document verification, and tuition fees

To submit any bachelor’s or master’s application, you must first set up an active Studielink account. If you reside outside the Netherlands and do not hold a DigiD account, Studielink requires a digital identity check. This verification is completed using a secure online tool that verifies your passport or EU national identity card from a high-quality scan or photo.

Once your identity has been authenticated, your profile is verified to begin processing applications with your chosen universities. Through the same portal, you can set up direct debit for your annual tuition fee payments and track the real-time status of your applications before the academic year begins.
